How long is the language training in Cameroon?

  • 7–10 monthsof intensive German classes (600 units of 45 minutes each).
  • Training is offered at AnB Language Institute or online via Jobsforyourfuture partners.
  • B1 Goethe-Institut exam is required, but continuing to B2/C1 is strongly recommended for better job opportunities.

  1. What support is provided for visa applications?
  • Fast-track embassy appointments(within 3 weeks of document acceptance).
  • Assistance with documentation, including proof of language proficiency and vocational placement.

  1. How does the "dual education" system work in Germany?
  • 2/3 practical work(paid apprenticeship at a company) + 1/3 theoretical study (vocational school).
  • Two possible schedules:
    • 3 days work / 2 days school per week, or
    • 6 weeks work / 4 weeks school (rotating).
  • Total commitment: ~40 hours/week.

 

What salary can I expect during the programme?

 

  • €1,000–€1,500/month (gross), including medical insurance.
  • Additional income: Up to 10 hours/week extra work at €14/hour (Germany’s minimum wage).

What are the living costs in Germany?

What happens after I graduate?
